New Features for Spring
Reminders
I am working on a few new features for the next update of HabitShaper. The biggest and most useful among these is the new reminder feature.
For each goal, you be able to set reminders if you haven’t reached your targets for that day. HabitShaper will minimize to the system tray, and will pop-up to remind you of the targets you haven’t completed yet.
Once the basic reminder function is done, I will make it possible to input the amount done directly into the pop-up.
Other Features in the Pipeline
Time-based goals (almost ready).
Though I said you should avoid time-based goals, I still need to include support for it. Sometimes, it’s just the best choice. (more on this later)
I will make sure it works all the way down to milliseconds, for those of you who want to use it to set targets such as “I will run a 100m dash in 12.50s, in three months”.
Better control of the overview graph.
Zooming in/out. Popups with info on mouseover.
Remote access
This is something that will take more planning and infrastructure, but I wanted to let you know that I will add the ability to check your targets online.
User-requested Features
No features are more important than those requested by you, the users.
Do tell me what you want from HabitShaper.
