Large Scale Test
Just a quick update: I am recruiting at least 10 testers for the latest version of HS2.
These will go through from step 0, giving me feedback, and (more importantly) will try to break HS2 and find bugs.
Once that step is done, I’ll fix any bugs discovered, and then release a wide-distribution for further testing.
On another note, I will be completely revamping the website, using Drupal. It’s far too static at the moment.
Well, that’s it from me for now! I know, a pretty dry post…
But, it’s means more time for me to work on making HS2 better!

Hey Adri,
I want to test this stuff. Count me in. What’s the prize? Just kidding…
I started running semi-seriously some 2-3 months ago and I’ve come a long way (7 km without breaks in between). Just recently I started sprinting 100m hoping to mock Usain Bolt some day, and I found out I can sprint 90m in 10.88 seconds which is supposed to be pretty respectable. I’ll use this program of yours to play around with my sporting goals.
Take it easy man. Say hi to Mauro.
Marko
Hi Marko!
Thanks for testing this. I’ll send you the details by e-mail.
90m in 10.88 is more than respectable, it’s less than 2 seconds from the Olympic qualifying mark!
That is seriously very impressive…
PS: qualifying mark for single runners, 100m in 10.28s. You’re at 12.09s!
Hey Adri, I just downloaded the trial and I have two remarks:
1. The program doesn’t look like it properly supports 1440×900 resolution.
2. It would be nice if you could allow users to move to input fields by clicking on the date/goal dots on the graph.
3. Not sure about this cause I didn’t explore the program enough…can it act as a reminder/alarm if kept running in the background/tray?
Marko
Hi again Marko,
That was fast!
Alarms are the next big feature on the list. Should be coming out in two weeks.
That “move to input field” is a good idea! If I’m not mistaken, it shouldn’t be too hard to implement.
As for the display resolutions, it’s designed to work fine for all resolutions. Is it distorted in some way, or are some things hard to see (too small/big)?
Thank you for your feedback.
I’m at work now and I can’t show you what I mean regarding the resolution. I’ll take some screen caps later today if I have time. The easiest analogy would be the look of a desktop on a monitor that runs at 1680×1050 (16:10 ar) when you revert back to a smaller resolution at a different aspect ratio (say 1280*720 which is 16:9). The text seems almost pixelated, but also a bit blurry…I’ll just take screen caps from home.
