How I am Getting Rid of My Debts with HabitShaper

I am using HabitShaper to cut back on spending, and eliminate my debts. And it took a few minutes to set-up this plan, and it takes no thought to carry it out.

Setting Goals Based On Time – Don’t!

Any goal you have can be a time-based goal. But this should be avoided as much as possible.

“I will jog for 30 minutes.”
“I will write for 1 hour each day.”
“I will study for an hour every weekday.”

Writing Daily

I have spent months working on this habit forming software, but I hardly ever mentioned what I am using it for!

Updates

Added decimal-support. Now you can add goals like 1.45 miles, or 2.5 hours (better time support coming soon).
Fixed a bug in “bad habits” -> apparently no matter what you entered, the goal name was always 0 cigarettes. Oops.
Made future “Actuals” greyed out, so it is clearer that they are only “what-ifs”.
